Lightning Swap

USDC to BTC, paid over Lightning

Lightning Swap turns USDC into Bitcoin on the Lightning Network. Paste a Lightning invoice from your wallet, choose USDC on Solana or USDC on Ethereum (ERC20), and send the exact amount we quote. We pay the invoice once your deposit confirms, so the BTC arrives in your Lightning wallet without an exchange account or an order book.

How it works

  1. In your Lightning wallet, create an invoice for the amount of bitcoin you want to receive.
  2. Paste the invoice above and choose USDC on the network you hold it on.
  3. Create the swap and send the exact USDC amount shown, on the network shown, before the quote expires.
  4. We pay your Lightning invoice as soon as your deposit confirms.

Questions

Which networks can I send USDC on?

Solana and Ethereum (ERC20). Each swap shows one deposit network. Send USDC only on that network.

How much does it cost?

Fees are between 1.1% and 5% depending on market conditions, plus Lightning routing. The rate is fixed into your quote when you create the swap and does not change for that swap.

Do I need an account?

No. Every swap gets a private link that is your way back to it. An account only adds API keys and swap history.

How long does it take?

Usually a few minutes. Most of that is your USDC deposit confirming on its network; the Lightning payment itself is instant.

Can I receive on-chain BTC instead?

No. Lightning Swap pays Lightning invoices only. Any Lightning wallet can create one.

What if my deposit cannot be swapped?

If a deposit cannot be used, for example because it arrived after the quote expired or the amount was wrong, the swap page lets you request a refund to your own address.
